So happy to have my first classes today!
We always go over the rules before we read and take out books.
One of the rules is to return books after a week, unless they are renewing. If they want to keep reading their book, they still bring them in, but put a renew sticky note on it, and they can take it out again.
They will get new Dog Man library bags to take their books home and bring them back in, just in case they unfortunately have a leaky water bottle or a half eaten apple sauce in their back pack.
It might help to write down their library days on your calendar.

We are down to 4 days left! Can we get them all in?! Congratulations to Mrs. Rutschke’s grade 3 class for being the first today, then to Ms. Bergs grade 5 class to being the second to have all their books back.
Students also need to hand in their textbooks, Chromebooks and chargers BEFORE their final exam. Please help your child to remember these items.

Today was our first day camping out and reading under the stars(flashlights) in the LC this month!

All library books are due back by Friday, June 12. If you have one, please send a flashlight with your child for their library day. I’ll read them a story, then they pick a book to take into the tents and under the table forts to read in the dark.

It’s June, so here’s some of MAY! What a busy month it was! So tiring, but soo worth it!!

Our rainbow trout are getting big!! Almost time to release them. The students are so lucky to have Mr. Barr teaching them all about it.
