October 2026 is Dyslexia Awareness Month in Manitoba to acknowledge that improving literacy provincially "requires the collaborative efforts of home, school, and community to better understand and support students with dyslexia."

Yesterday, Prairie Rose School Division observed Truth and Reconciliation Day by closing all buildings and flying flags at half-mast. Many staff wore orange in the days leading up to September 30th, in honour of Residential School Survivors, their families, and those who never returned home. Thank you to our staff who work continually to educate and share the message that "every child matters."
