More Mighty Machine Happiness!❤️🩷❤️

YAY!!! Our first big toy order, purchased with some of the money raised at Mighty Machines, has arrived and the children are SO excited! 🥳
Thanks to the incredible support of our families, local businesses, community helpers, sponsors and everyone who attended, we can continue adding new toys and learning materials to our classrooms at both locations!

Seeing the children’s excitement as they explore, create and learn through play is exactly what Mighty Machines was all about! We are so grateful to have such an amazing community supporting our centre and our children. Thank you for helping make this possible! 🧸🚜💛

Nature was the perfect playground for our school age summer camp!🍃🌿From outdoor exploration, mining for gold and gems, looking for wildlife 🦊along the nature trail and being geocatchers using clues to problem solve it was a packed week full of curiosity, teamwork and discoveries.🐞🌳☀️

“Happy Western Wednesday! 🌵🤠
Yeehaw! Our little cowboys and cowgirls were ready to round up some fun today! From cowboy hats and boots to big smiles and endless imagination, our preschool was filled with western spirit.

There was plenty of pretending, laughing, exploring, and making memories together. We loved seeing everyone’s western outfits and watching our little wranglers embrace the fun!

✨ Saddle up, partners… it was a rootin’ tootin’ good day! 🤎🐴”

✨ Wow… what a fun way to end the month of July! ✨

This week, our preschool friends had an amazing time exploring all kinds of exciting careers and learning about the many different jobs they might choose when they grow up!

Throughout the week, our classrooms had the opportunity to meet some incredible community helpers and get an up-close look at the important work they do every day.

A huge THANK YOU to:

🚔 Our local OPP officers for bringing a police cruiser for us to explore.

🚛 Cavanagh Construction for letting us climb into a real dump truck.

🚒 Our local Fire Department for creating the most exciting sprinkler fun with the fire hose.

🗑️ Stanley Sanitation for teaching us all about how a garbage truck works.

🚌 And today, we finished the week with a very special visit with a real school bus! For many of our little friends, this was a dream come true. We climbed aboard, learned about bus safety, explored the driver’s seat, and of course sang The Wheels on the Bus together too!

Thank you to all of our wonderful community partners for taking the time to inspire our little learners. These hands-on experiences sparked so much curiosity, excitement, and conversation, and created memories our preschool friends will be talking about for a long time!

Late spring, our school age programs stepped outside and started some exciting new planting projects. A huge shout out to our hard-working educators and enthusiastic planters for bringing our outdoor school age space to life. FLASHBACK FRIDAY!!! 🎉🎉At the beginning of July, we had the incredible Issie Mullen visit our programs. Issie brough so much energy, laughter, and music with her amazing children's entertainment. The kids absolutely loved every minute of her visit. 😀🎶🎵🎸

Thank you Issie, for making such wonderful memories with our kiddos. We can't wait to welcome you back again in the future.💜

Yesterday was such an exciting day!🐐🐏 We had some friendly farm animals come for a visit. There were lots of smiles, gentle pats and some tears too! It was a fun, up close, hands-on experience that most of our friends enjoyed and we loved seeing the children's excitement and curiosity during the visit. We are sending a heartflet thank you to Countryside Petting Farm for bringing the farm to us!🦙🐑❤💙💛
