The recent fire which destroyed RCCC main campus forced us to move to the old Saipoyi Elementary School sooner than we thought. The fire destroyed everything including the library. The library had a book collection of 17,000+ titles including the Blackfoot special collection, archival material including the St. Paul's Residential School Middleton Collection which contained rare books, photos, first editions of various copies like Our Betrayed Wards, Blood Lands collection, etc.
We are currently rebuilding in our present location.
The resource centre has received many email requests to donate and we welcome our library friends for their interest in our rebuilding efforts.
RCCC has an online donation campaign at gofundme: http://www.gofundme.com/redcrow
to make a donation. I will keep our fb friends updated on our situation as we progress in our rebuilding efforts.
Mary Weasel Fat, Library Coordinator and Nora Stabs Down, Library Assistant.

Off to University of Montana Libraries, Bozeman, Mt. to attend the AIHEC Tribal College Library Institute. Love going to this library institute get to meet, learn new things and mingle with the 35 other tribal college library folks and some other interesting people who present on various topics. Many of the tribal colleges in the States also serve as public libraries for their reservations.
I will post some photos of the institute and share info about the workshops.
