Exploring the trails with the kids. We picked up many things on our walk and used them in the water table on our way back. Lots of smiles, laughter and wonder! :)

I have drop ins available pretty much every day this coming month starting on Monday. If you're looking for part-time child care or only a few days here and there, please contact me.

I also have a 22 months + full time spot available starting in September.

I find children are often drawn to beautiful old trees. They quickly become a favorite spot to gather, to enjoy the shade and climb on its branches.

Some pics of this past week's activities. Children are busy exploring and creating. There's always lots going and it's always so delightful to watch them come up with all kinds of projects and plays. Knowing that they're building up their skills while enjoying the fun.

Mud play! The season of PEI's red mud is here to the delight of the Woodland Kids.

Mud is an amazing open-ended material that helps to improve gross and fine motor skills, balance, hand-eye coordination, social and emotional skills and more. When children play with mud, they learn to connect and interact with the natural world around them and they benefit from so many learning opportunities.

Let's never underestimate the power of mud play :)

Winter bliss with the Woodland Kids! Lots to discover and explore during the winter months. The cold is not keeping is from enjoying the beautiful outdoor.
