It is with great sadness and a heavy heart to make such a tough decision, November 11th 2024 Simcoe Montessori will come to a long temporary close while our family figures things out, and other factors that came into place.

This was not an easy decision and I wish all my families the best in the future. 😭🤍

Lately Simcoe Montessori Daycare has been working on their ‘Every Child Matters’ crafts. 🧡
I’ve also ordered some age appropriate stories to share with them. ☺️

As fall/winter comes we’re going to be doing lots of new, & fun indoor acitivities!

As we approach Fall and Winter; here’s a reminder of my sick policy! ☺️
If I get sick, or Malcolm it makes it harder for me to provide the best care for your little, or staying open for families!! 🤍

Last year was rough - I hope this year is better!!!

I will NOT accept children with the following:

Fever of 99.5 or higher. (Formerly 101) 39 or above for Fahrenheit.

Vomiting on two or more occasions in the past 24 hrs.

Diarrhea in the past 24 hrs.

Draining rash.

Eye discharge or Pink Eye.

Head lice or nits.

Fatigue that prevents regular participation in activities.

Runny noses and slight colds are to be expected with little ones. But please, if your child is continually coughing, sneezing or has constant nose drainage and just not feeling well...just keep them home so I don’t have to call for them to be picked up. That's where they want to be anyway when they are not feeling well. 🙂

A lot of children may have some type of allergy which can cause coughing, if your child is coughing to the point of gagging, and spitting up mucous.........you will be called to pick them up.

The only way to stop spreading germs and stay healthy is to keep sick kids home UNTIL they are over whatever ails them; regardless of the origin.
