The countdown is officially on! In just one week, the halls of Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Academy will once again be filled with familiar faces, new beginnings, laughter, learning, and community. We can’t wait to welcome our students and families back for another year of faith, growth, connection, and possibility.

Tonight we celebrated more than graduation — we celebrated years of growth, friendships, faith, perseverance, and unforgettable memories within the walls of OLS. Watching these students toss their caps into the sky was a reminder that while their time here may be ending, their stories are only just beginning.

No matter where life takes them next, they will always be part of the OLS family.

You don’t need professional coaching experience—just a passion for working with kids and helping them grow in confidence, character, and teamwork.

Today, Mr. Fox and Mrs. Westlake rolled up their sleeves and helped plant in our new pollinator garden! We are incredibly grateful to the Biosphere Institute of the Bow Valley for partnering with us on this exciting project.

This garden will do so much more than support pollinators—it will provide our students with hands-on opportunities to learn, grow, explore, and connect with the natural world right outside our school doors. We can’t wait to watch it flourish and see the learning that blossoms alongside it.

Today our school community gathered for Adoration with Father Lezano. In the quiet moments of prayer and reflection, students and staff had the opportunity to pause, be present, and spend time with Jesus. We are grateful for these sacred opportunities to grow in faith together and be reminded of God’s presence in our daily lives. ❤️

We are pleased to welcome special guest Andrea Murphy, who will be speaking on the important topic of student mental health. We hope you can join us for this meaningful conversation as we continue working together to support the well-being of our students.

Grade 5 took learning to new heights at the Calgary Hangar Flight Museum! From historic aircraft to hands-on aviation experiences, students explored the incredible stories of flight, innovation, and Canadian history. A day full of curiosity, discovery, and sky-high learning!
