Coming up in the next few weeks: gatherings for the Prima Mamas, Brotherhood of Strings, the Mother Pluckers, the Nameless Ladies (who will have a name soon) AND the new Calgary Guitar Mama group. Also, Mamas will retreat to Kananaskis in November. Things are heating up in this amazing community, even as the weather (finally) starts to cool. Keep an eye on the events calendar to know what's going on.

We're BACK - after a forced break due to the global pandemic, Guitar Mamas will start meeting again this fall! The first gathering, for all Mamas and women who are interested in joining this incredible community will be on Thursday, September 8th.

With regret, all WDM gatherings are on pause for the time being. This is not the end, but a combination of factors - pandemic related and non-pandemic related both - are calling for a break. Watch this space for news and in the meantime, keep playing music and shine on.

What a fun time last night - 11 of us, representing all the Mama and Brotherhood groups, playing together! We'll do a couple more in August and we intend to resume a more regular schedule in the fall.
