Join the Town of Banff and Banff National Park for a FREE and interactive Bear Aware session that will have you learning how to be safe in bear country.
This 75-minute webinar will be led by two Parks Canada wildlife specialists and includes a presentation on how to identify different types of bears, common bear behaviours and tools and tips to prevent bear encounters.

Join our community and help raise over $60,000 for Canmore Community Childcare! Your time and support helps provide vital resources for our children and staff, strengthening the programs and care that make our centre such a special place for our families.

Volunteers may work one position during the two-day event, but can take multiple shifts in the same role. Volunteers are NOT to gamble before or after their shift.

Sign up with other parents-the roles are simple, and it’s a fun way to connect while raising funds for our childcare community. People outside the community may volunteer (grandparents, friends, neighbours, etc)

To make volunteering as easy as possible, transportation, childcare, and hotel rooms can be provided if needed—we’ll help with whatever you need to make it work.
