🌈✨ Exploring Colours at the Light Table! ✨🌈

Our children enjoyed using see-through pebbles on the light table to explore the wonderful world of colours! They sorted the pebbles into similar colours, created shapes and patterns, and experimented with layering and mixing colours to discover new shades. Then extended it to see the difference on a normal table...

Through this hands-on activity, the children practiced sorting, colour recognition, creativity, and problem-solving while having fun exploring light and colour! 💛💙❤️

🌳🍂 Our Out of School Care children at Camrose Kids Daycare & OSC enjoyed meaningful activities focused on gratitude and understanding.

The children created a Gratitude Tree, sharing the things they are thankful for. They also explored National Day for Truth and Reconciliation through an art activity, expressing what they believe matters and why. 🧡

These experiences encourage reflection, kindness, respect, and learning about the importance of every person and every story. 🧡

🧡 CLOSURE NOTICE 🧡

Camrose Kids Daycare & OSC will be closed on Wednesday, September 30th, in recognition of National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

This day is an opportunity to honour the children who never returned home, remember Survivors and their families, and reflect on the importance of truth, respect, and reconciliation.

We encourage our families to take time to learn, listen, and reflect together. 🧡

Thank you for your understanding.

🎨🌈 Little Artists at Work! 🌈🎨

Our Preschool children got creative today as they explored painting with different objects! 🖌️✨

Who says you need a paintbrush to create art?! The children experimented with different objects to make dots, lines, prints, patterns, and all kinds of interesting textures. They loved discovering what each object could create when dipped in paint! 😍

This fun, open-ended activity encouraged the children to use their imagination, creativity, fine-motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and problem-solving skills while having lots of fun exploring colour and texture.

We love watching our little artists experiment, get messy, and turn simple materials into beautiful creations! 💕🎨

Sometimes the best art happens when there are no rules—just creativity! 🌈✨

🚒🔥 That time of year again… the end of summer and the start of another school year! 📚🍎

As we get ready to head into a new school year, it’s the perfect time to refresh our little ones on the importance of fire and smoke safety! 🧯🚨

We were so lucky to have our local firefighters come by and spend some time with the children, teaching them about fire safety, what to do if they ever see or smell smoke, and how firefighters help keep our community safe. ❤️

And, of course, what could possibly be more exciting than getting to experience the BIG FIRE TRUCK up close?! 🚒😍

The children absolutely loved exploring the truck, seeing the equipment, and learning from our amazing local firemen. The fire truck was definitely the highlight of the day! 🥰

A huge THANK YOU to our local firefighters for taking the time to educate, inspire, and create such a memorable experience for our little ones! 👩‍🚒👨‍🚒❤️

Here’s to a safe, happy, and wonderful new school year! 🍎📚🚒

🍦☀️ What better way to finish off an amazing summer than with ICE CREAM?! 🍦☀️

We couldn’t think of a sweeter way to wrap up a fun-filled day than a special trip to OleO’s Ice Cream Castle! 🍦😍

The children had such a fantastic time enjoying the Mirror Lake playground, playing with their friends, and taking part in lots of fun planned activities with their teachers. 🛝🌳🎨

And then came the BEST part… ICE CREAM! 🍦🎉

Everyone got to choose their delicious treat before we made our way back to the daycare with lots of happy faces, full bellies, and wonderful summer memories. 💕☀️

What a FUN and SWEET way to say goodbye to summer! 🥰🍦

A huge thank you to our amazing teachers for making the summer so full of fun, laughter, adventure, and memories our children will cherish! ❤️

Bring on a new school year! 📚✏️🍎

🫖🧸💕 Tea Party Fun in OSC! 💕🧸🫖

Our OSC girls enjoyed a very special tea party with their dolls! ☕️🌸

With lots of imagination and creativity, they set up their tea party, served their little guests, and enjoyed spending time together in their own pretend-play world. 🥰

Through this simple and adorable play experience, the girls were practicing sharing, turn-taking, communication, cooperation, and caring for others, all while having lots of fun! 💕

We love watching our children use their imaginations to create their own stories and experiences. Sometimes the sweetest learning happens during a little tea party with friends! 🫖✨

Cheers to friendship, imagination, and lots of pretend tea! ☕️🧸💗
