It was a thrill to hear Chris Andrew perform at the for his CD release of “Awakening” tonight! I can hardly believe that it was 25 years ago that I was a first-year music student at Augustana taking lessons from Chris. Check out his new record, it is fantastic!

I had the pleasure of spending two hours this afternoon with this beautiful Steinway grand piano in Convocation Hall at the University of Alberta. I am preparing for my Master of Music piano recital next week — April 29 at 5 pm (free admission).
It looks like I just missed seeing the incomparable Anna Lapwood who was there to check out the pipe organ. There is a petition available to sign to show your support for this wonderful and historic instrument. Read more here:
