There are many reasons to check out Big Block Party 2026! I’m excited to be part of it, starting at 3 pm.

The Big Block Party is bringing a full afternoon of LIVE entertainment to Downtown Camrose! 🎶

From local performers to live music, we’ve got the stage packed from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, September 12.

Come for the pancake breakfast, stay for the shopping, activities, food and entertainment, and make a whole day of it downtown.

A huge thank you to Long & McQuade and Steven Hartman Music for helping us bring this stage to life and supporting local talent in our community.

Labour Day at the Armena Market — the one day each year that I am asked to play this very odd pair of instruments. Thanks to the organizers and volunteers for their hard work!

Here is a taste of Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue" (solo piano version). Do you recognize the melody at 5:30?

It was a thrill to hear Chris Andrew perform at the for his CD release of “Awakening” tonight! I can hardly believe that it was 25 years ago that I was a first-year music student at Augustana taking lessons from Chris. Check out his new record, it is fantastic!

I had the pleasure of spending two hours this afternoon with this beautiful Steinway grand piano in Convocation Hall at the University of Alberta. I am preparing for my Master of Music piano recital next week — April 29 at 5 pm (free admission).

It looks like I just missed seeing the incomparable Anna Lapwood who was there to check out the pipe organ. There is a petition available to sign to show your support for this wonderful and historic instrument. Read more here:
