Joining the Augustana Conservatory this Fall: Nansee Hughes, Soprano! An alum of Augustana, Nansee holds both her Bachelors and Masters of Music from University of Alberta. She is an active performer with recent roles with Vera Causa Opera, Pop Goes the
Opera and Opera Nuova. In addition to performing Nansee is also a passioned and experienced vocal teacher. With a vibrant teaching style Nansee can help young performers explore their voices through a variety of genres such as musical theatre, classical, opera and pop. The stage is waiting—let Nansee be your guide to a world of endless possibilities!

The Augustana Conservatory is pleased to introduce Vocal instructor Mairi-Irene McCormack! With a Bachelor of Music, and Masters of Music from the
U of a as well as a Performer diploma from Indiana University, Mairi-Irene is an experienced voice teacher and versatile performer of a wide range of genres from Folk to pop to classical and opera. Mairi-Irene is excited to continue teaching at Augustana while offering additional lessons through the Community Conservatory program. She loves teaching students of all ages, from kids and teens to adult beginners, and enjoys working on a variety of vocal music. Most of all, Mairi-Irene is enthusiastic about helping singers build confidence in themselves and their ability to communicate through singing!
