The Indigenous Sports Council of Alberta - ISCA is excited to start the 2022 ISCA Winter Fitness Challenge January 24th 2022.
Registration is now open!!!! Signup today and share with your friends and family. As the pandemic continues, this virtual fitness group is designed to get you active while having fun in a safe environment with friends and family.
The program is very flexible; you can modify to meet your current fitness level and progress along during the ten weeks. This awesome group of Indigenous Peoples from across Alberta support each other and we push forward together!
You will receive weekly workout schedules that are easily adaptable. In this Challenge you are not in competition with anyone, there are no weight loss goals to hit. This is a safe and welcoming program where you are only accountable to yourself!!
The goal of this Challenge is to get out, get fit, have a lot of fun and hopefully win a prize or two along the way with friends and family. I-STEAM Pathways is inviting any and all Indigenous undergraduate students to consider applying for a paid summer internship offered through the I-STEAM Pathways Program. This experience will allow students to work with University of Alberta researchers from a variety of faculties on environmental related projects. The program also supports students by offering professional development, career exposure, and through cultural support. Indigenous student intake is currently open until the end of day January 28.
