Good morning families,
The mosquitoes are out in full force here at the school grounds! Please consider sending bug spray to school with your children to help protect them at recess times.

🌈 Divisional Pride Week is coming next week! 🌈

We’re excited to celebrate a week of inclusion, belonging, learning, and community across our schools and workplaces.

Each day will feature a different theme, along with fun contests, activities, lesson ideas, discussion prompts, and opportunities for reflection and celebration for all ages - students, staff, and professional learners alike.

Pride Week is about creating welcoming, safe, and affirming spaces where everyone feels seen, respected, and valued. Whether you participate through classroom conversations, school spirit activities, displays, learning opportunities, or acts of allyship, every contribution matters.

This celebration is not just for schools - it’s for everyone. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

Stay tuned for daily themes, resources, and ways to participate throughout the week!

Day 2 of our grade 5-8 trip to Winnipeg was kicked off with a fantastic trip to the Manitoba Museum. Students watched a planetarium show, explored the Science Gallery, then saw a science demonstration, and explored the history of the province. After that we went to Across the Board Game Cafe for games and dinner, then to The Forks for souvenir shopping and exploring this cultural site. What a busy day, but so much fun!

Day 1 of our grade 5-8 field trip to Winnipeg was a great success! Students participated in a pig heart dissection at the Youth BioLab at St. Boniface Hospital, then had a great time doing bowling, arcade games, and laser tag at Uptown Alley. Tomorrow we’re off to new adventures!

Good morning families,
At the direction of the Area 2 office, given that the power has not been restored, we are closing for the day.

A reminder that tomorrow is a teacher in-service day, so there are no classes.

We will see all our students again after the long weekend on Tuesday!
