We appreciate our Inclusion Support Workers!

They are the people that ensure every child is included and supported regardless of disabilities, delays, and various support needs. They work with educators to develop the environment and practices to maintain the delicate balance of hands-on support and encouraging independence.

We appreciate our Class Assistants!

They are consistent, observant, and encouraging. They are loved by every child and invaluable to every co-worker as they offer new perspectives and helping hands in implementing the structure and standards of each classroom.

We appreciate our Class Leads!

In our Pre-School and After-School classes, they invest time, energy, and love into providing an educational experience for each child. They always have new and creative ways to implement our play-based curriculum while taking into consideration what is culturally inclusive, socially relevant, and developmentally appropriate.

This week is Early Childhood Educator appreciation week and we certainly have so much to appreciate!
We kicked off the week with a night out of bowling and prizes (including paid days off of course). Stay tuned throughout the week as we highlight some of our communities very best educators.

AFTER-SCHOOL SUMMER PROGRAM

We have 3 spots available at our Campbellton locations for children ages 5-12 in our summer program. The summer program will run from June 22nd until September 3rd.

"Some of my earliest memories are playing in a little daycare in Tide Head. Playing on a little playground with my cousins eating sand. Listening to my grandmother tell the story how she caught fish for the lunch served that day. (It wasn’t true). I remember feeling safe and happy surrounded by family and loved ones.

In 2019 I had the opportunity to work casually at Wee Care 2. It was a blast being able to contribute to that love and safety I was given as a child. Being able to celebrate birthdays and accomplishments with children who might not have have healthy influences is my greatest blessing.

I’m older than a little toddler now. While I’ve been able to give love I’ve received so much more. Through my own birthdays, my own accomplishments and moments of growth I’ve had another community there. When my apartment burned I was given so much support from both coworkers and the wonderful families attending. My day is full of happy children excited to see me and learn. I never would have expected to be back here but I wouldn’t change a thing. Happy 30th Weecare"

"In 1999, my daughter Taylor, attended Wee Care in Tide Head. From the moment I walked in, Miss Laura was so welcoming and kind. And just like that, we became part of the Wee Care family.
In 2009, I started working for Wee Care and eventually my last two babies, Zuri and Zekhi, had their turn to attend. My children grew up at Wee Care, and it was definitely a home away from home. I have so many fond memories that will last forever! The Christmas concerts, graduations and the binders, full of stories, pictures and art work made by my children.
