Thank you Kawartha Lakes Hockey for your generous donation of sports equipment! Each classroom was given a new ball and are enjoying playing with them daily at recess and during phys-ed classes!

Due to the current and ongoing freezing rain, Trillium Lakelands District School Board (TLDSB) has made the decision to close all schools, education centres, and child care centres in schools today, Wednesday, March 11.

This decision was made with the safety of our students and staff as the top priority.

Please note, schools will not be moving to online learning.
We hope students will take this opportunity to catch up on work, or read/listen to a good book.

We know this is an unusual circumstance and we appreciate parents/guardians for their understanding during this time.

Due to forecasted inclement weather and road conditions throughout the school day, transportation to schools is not operating in Zone 1, 4, and 5 today, Wednesday, February 18. Schools remain open and learning opportunities will continue for students who are able to safely attend in person.

Parents/guardians are responsible for transportation of their student(s) to and from school on inclement weather days. Drop-off and pick-up must occur in alignment with the regular school day start and end times.

We’ve received our first order of books from the Love of Reading Campaign. So many books were added to classrooms today, and students were excited to see new titles. We are looking forward the next shipment of books and getting them into the hands of students.

Exam information: due to today’s inclement weather day, secondary exams scheduled for Monday, January 26 in Zones 4 and 5 will be moved forward by one school day. Please contact your school for more information.
