I offer theory lessons, helping students to prepare for RCM theory exams, all levels; especially theory rudiments grade 5 to 8, and Harmony, grade 9 and 10.

Happy to be resuming lessons next week! Teaching piano and flute, for the joy of music and of self-expression--no exams or recitals required! Also offering RCM theory lessons for grades 4 through 10 (music theory is fun!). New students welcome, ages 6 and up. Seniors are encouraged to come and give piano lessons a try! Spaces currently available on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

Had such a fun time at Wonderland with the Cambridge Kiwanis Choir, performing at the Festival of Music on May 25. Then watching backpacks while the singers went on rides! 😄

If you are looking for piano lessons Carolyn is the best. She is extremely knowledgeable, and patient. Growing up I played at her house with Laura constantly and took piano lessons.
She knew exactly how to motivate me; by finding the sheet music to all my favourite Beatles and Disney songs! With her guidance and shining positivity I genuinely began to enjoy playing the piano and learning musical theory. In grade 8 I won the music award at HPS and the credit goes to entirely to Carolyn ❤️

I'm accepting new piano students now for the fall, and very much looking forward to teaching in-person lessons! Let me know if you're interested. Ages 6 and up are welcome, including seniors, and I have day-time openings as well as evenings. Flute and theory lessons are also available.
