Our Casa children have been exploring the fascinating life cycle of the butterfly, bringing their learning to life with a special visit to the Butterfly Conservatory!
The children have also been active participants in creating our very own butterfly garden at school, planting, caring for, and helping maintain our outdoor environment. Through hands-on experiences, they are learning about nature, responsibility, and the interconnectedness of living things.
This week brought an especially exciting surprise: we observed butterflies laying eggs on the plants we provided for them! Watching this next stage of the life cycle unfold right before our eyes has been a truly magical learning experience.
A heartfelt thank you to all of our families who have contributed to our garden. Your support helps create these meaningful moments of discovery for our children. π π¦ πͺ πͺ΄

A heartfelt thank you to all the families who visited and supported our little learners. Your encouragement and presence helped make the event a wonderful success for our Brason Montessori Community.

Today our children stepped into the world of little scientists as we invited experts to teach them about invertebrates.
Elementary children guide the younger ones, helping them explore and learn together. Moments like these truly reflect the Montessori spirit of collaboration, curiosity, and hands-on learning.

Small hands. Big discoveries π
Children learn best when their hands and hearts are involved. Our inquisitive explorers are learning about the world through paintings, puzzles, labeling, tracing and all different type of hands on work.
From researching about continents to understanding about animal habitats and cultures.

We are incredibly grateful to our amazing school community across all locations for coming together in support of our Food Drive and Christmas Miracle initiatives. Thanks to your generosity, we exceeded our donation expectations and are now able to bring real joy to families in need throughout the KW Region.
Through these initiatives, weβre also teaching the children the power of giving back, showing them firsthand how kindness, compassion, and community action can make a real difference in the lives of others.
Because of you, children will wake up on Christmas morning with full hearts, warm meals, and the magic every child deserves to feel. Your kindness has made a meaningful difference, and we couldnβt be more proud of what we accomplished together.
Thank you for helping us lift up our community and share the spirit of the season. π π π₯«

Tomorrow we will host our second monthly Parent Education Session with Ms. Mary.
These evenings serve an essential role in creating a strong, consistent partnership between the school and the home. We hope that through these sessions, we may provide insight to help align the childβs experiences across environments and empower parents to support Montessori principles in daily life.
We always welcome and encourage questions at the end of the hour.
We hope to see Brason families tomorrow at our Waterloo location, starting at 4:30 PM!

Brason Academy students recently visited the Canadian Clay and Glass Gallery.
Our Casa and Elementary children had a wonderful time bringing their own imagined characters to life and placing them in their chosen habitats on Earth. ππ«
This creative, hands-on experience nurtured their fine motor skills, encouraged imagination, self-expression, and artistic confidence β the true essence of Montessori learning.
