Summer Lessons always call for something a little more fun 😉☀️
Checking out the “piano’s organs” as one student called it 🤣
P.S. The piano belongs to what instrument family?!

Game day everyday 👏🏼👏🏼
Our music students are LOVING games lately (I mean secretly they’re just reviewing and learning new skills 😉)
Maybe it’s the weather or sports being in full swing… but our students have been bringing their A game to lessons lately!

THANK YOU to everyone that participated in our recent Client Feedback Survey 👏🏼🎶🤍
Scarlett was the lucky winner of our gift card!
Read about Scarlett’s story from her mom’s perspective below…
“Scarlett’s favourite part of music therapy is definitely percussion. If you hear a loud bang on the gathering drum, it’s likely her! She also loves playing musical games that involve movement and harmonizing while singing with Emily. She likes to be the conductor and give instructions to Emily and I to create incredible music.
Music therapy has given Scarlett a unique outlet to be creative in a different way. We look forward to our sessions and are excited to continue attending!”

on an average Tuesday 😁🎶
The good, the bad, the mundane… being a music therapist/teacher isn’t always glamorous, but it’s always rewarding! 🤍
1. Unloading from a group music therapy session with school aged kiddos: focusing on social skills such as listening and team work
2. Adapted adult piano lesson: working on recital repertoire
3. Finally typing out the chords to a hello song I’ve sang 6915 times, because a student asked for it
4. Dealing with the overwhelming amount of random voice notes I have. Inspiring titles 🤣
5. Tuesday is my bathroom cleaning day 🧼
6. Cleaning up with Emily after her session (actually I’m not confident I helped, but I stopped by🤪)
7. Piano lesson preparing for final recital
8. Piano lesson learning “Poor Unfortunate Souls”
9. Piano lesson preparing grade 2 repertoire
What did you do today? 👇🏻
