This year marks a milestone for Heritage as we celebrate the first four graduates of our Biblical Care & Counselling Ministries Program. 🎓✨
We are incredibly proud of these students who have been equipped to bring Christ-centred care, wisdom, and hope to individuals, families, and communities in need. Their graduation is more than an achievement – it’s the beginning of a growing movement of faithful biblical counsellors ready to serve the church and the world.
This is only the start, and we are excited for the future of biblical counselling through the lives and ministries of graduates like these.

From his pastoral roles to his teaching and administrative roles, Dr. Barry Howson has been a faithful and encouraging leader and colleague on the Canadian Baptist scene. After over 25 years of service, he will be retiring from his role as Vice President of Academics in June.
Drs. David G. Barker, Joel Barker, Jonathan N. Cleland & Michael A.G. Azad Haykin have co-edited a new book of papers titled "Nourished on the Truths of the Faith", written by several contributors, honouring Dr. Howson's service to the church and the academy.
