I’m thinking of doing some harder training today. No martial arts but more body weight and movement drills. I have some stability tubes and we’re going to use a basketball the last 30 minutes of this 60 minute workout.

Training with absolute beasts will allow you to up your game but you can learn a lot on your own by training your core in a more practical sense. I’ve been experimenting with all kind of new tricks with these simple tools. The idea of balancing and lengthening stabilizing muscles.

It still is great to train with a team though. Never forget that. I’m glad to see things changing and I hope the best for clubs/studios and the communities they serve.
