Today is National Truth and Reconciliation Day. On this day, we take the time to recognize and learn the impact of the residential school system on the Indigenous peoples of Canada that lasted over a century. We encourage every child and staff member to wear an orange shirt on to encourage the continual healing and education that we want to promote throughout the center and our community. We know that every child matters, and work to create a safe, inclusive space for every child, every day.🧡

Remember, peace isn’t just built in conference rooms—it is shaped by everyone, everywhere, every day.
This year’s International Day of Peace honours the 'everyday architects of peace'—people driving local action, laying the groundwork for stability, and building a lasting peace from the ground up.
Everyone everywhere can do their part for peace. Take one small step for peace every day:
