Find yourself a coach or a mentor or a partner or someone you have to answer to on a daily or weekly basis.

We are so much more likely to stretch ourselves, or even just show up, if someone else is involved.

It's why people join study groups or running partners or fitness coaches - we could pursue our goals on our own, but because we don't want to look foolish in front of others, and because two minds are more powerful than one, we get better results when we team up with kickass people.

I know for me, left to my own devices, i didn't accomplish as I wanted to or as much as I could.
Now that I'm accountable to a whole group of women who have the same goals, I show up for ME and for THEM.

An excuse is simply a challenge that you've decided has power over you. If you're serious about changing your life, you'll find a way past your obstacles; if you're kinda sorta serious about changing your life, you'll find an excuse. In other words, excuses are fake news!

You have the power to create what you want out of life.

Those extra 5-10 lbs that your body naturally wants to be - that's your life.

That's your iced coffee and marshmellow dream bar in the middle of a busy work day. The ice cream cone you get with your family to celebrate that the snow has melted. The extra slice of pizza you sneak when no one is looking. The pancakes and bacon on a Sunday morning. The red wine and creme brulee on date night.

Those 5-10 lbs are your favorite memories, your unforgettable trips, your life celebrations.

Those 5-10 lbs are your spontaneity, your zest for life, your fun, your love ❤

Food is NOT the enemy. Your negative self talk and guilt toward yourself after you indulge IS. Trusttttt me. You can live your life, crush a workout, rock a bikini and eat the popcorn and m&ms at the movies.

"I will start next week."
"I will start after tax season."
"I will start when my house is more organized."
"I will start once I start eating better."
"I will wait until next Monday. "
"I will wait until after my birthday. "
"I will wait until I'm ready..."

You will never really be "ready". There will always be a to-do list. There will always be things that pop up. There will always be a life.

There are 7 days in a week. SOME DAY is not one of them.

That dangling carrot of someday can make you feel defeated, if you let it.

Brush yourself off and shift how you think about it.

Your SOME DAY is closer than you think.

If you don't do things to keep your cup full, you have nothing to give to others.

Filling my cup means happiness, laughing, more energy for my kids, calmer for my partner, more productive at work and I can be my authentic self.

It's our responsibility to take the time to do what fills our cup first!

The 3 biggest things that fill my cup (othet than spending time with my fam jam) are:
1) Being near the water
2) Baking
3) Dancing

My daily schedule:
✔ Drink my go-go juice (working title)
✔ change into workout gear
✔ go downstairs and push PLAY
✔ feel like a total badass
✔ drink my shake!

Next day - lather, rinse and repeat!
