Well, the CMM has a perfect opportunity for you.

Summer is quickly approaching, and it's time to start thinking about those summer plans. Join the CMM and be a summer intern for the 2026 field season! This is with their partner, the Community Eelgrass Restoration Initiative (CERI). This job would be mainly located at Dalhousie University (Halifax Campus) and various field sites.

Chief and Council wish to share their open letter to Premier Tim Houston regarding the recently announced 2026-27 Provincial Budget.

Annapolis Valley First Nation Chief and Council stands with Mi’kmaw leadership across Mi’kma’ki in response to recent RCMP enforcement actions in our communities.

These actions highlight the ongoing need for meaningful dialogue and respect for Mi’kmaw governance and jurisdiction. Decisions that impact our communities must involve our Nations and our leadership.

We support the call from the Maw-lukutijik Saqmaq (Assembly of Nova Scotia Mi’kmaw Chiefs) for respectful engagement and collaborative solutions moving forward.
