About Danielle:

At a very early age in my life I developed a strong passion for children, and individuals with special needs. I spent my childhood volunteering with children in various capacities, and knew early on that I wanted nothing more in life than to be a mother. Growing up my mother was a stay at home mom, and I knew that I wanted to provide that lifestyle for my own family one day. As I grew older I started to understand not only the financial pressures that were placed on a family when one partner choose’s to stay home, but also the pressures that families face when having to juggle full time work with raising a family. It was then that the dream to open a DayHome where I could provide financially for my family, while also providing that “Stay at Home Parent” lifestyle to families who have 2 working parents, was planted in my heart.

Since then I have spent my years preparing myself for the time that I would finally be able to make my DayHome Dreams a reality, and every step of the way I have had your children in mind.

In 2013 I started the Early Learning Childcare Certificate Program through Mount Royal University where I obtained my Level 1 in Early Childhood Education. In 2015 they discontinued the program at Mount Royal, and I chose to switch gears and enter the world of Speech Therapy Assisting through Grant MacEwan University beginning in 2016. When I complete my program in 2020 I will have dual diploma’s in both Early Learning and Speech Therapy Assisting.

I have also spent significant time volunteering with children in various capacities and have experience working in both multi-age DayCare and Out of School Care environments.

In March of 2016 my dreams of becoming a mother were realized, and I had my first baby, a little girl. I have enjoyed my transition into motherhood, and welcomed another baby girl in December of 2019.

I feel strongly that you will not find a more intentional, prepared, and passionate care provider in the Calmar area.
