Another fantastic week at Callander Outdoor Summer Camp is in the books! Week 7 was filled with sunshine, creativity, outdoor adventures, and plenty of big smiles!

⭐️WEEK 6 HIGHLIGHTS: FAMILIAR FACES & NON-STOP FUN! ☀️

Week 6 of Callander Outdoor Summer Camp was a total blast! It was so special welcoming back a few of our repeat campers—there is nothing better than seeing those familiar, smiling faces back at camp! 🎒✨

Here is a look at what kept us busy all week long:

Making a trip to Fire Station 2, featuring a extra-special guest appearance by Firefighter Neil! 🚒🧑‍🚒

Cooling down after high-energy activities with sweet freezes and frozen juice boxes 🧃🧊

Making a splash with wild water game challenges and our crowd-favorite: outdoor water baseball 💦⚾️

Unleashing our creativity with tons of painting sessions 🎨

Exploring nature with some bug catching and playing classic group games like British Bulldog 🐞🏃‍♂️

🚒 Special Visit from a Local Firefighter! 🔥

We were excited to welcome back some of our repeat campers from previous weeks—and today’s visit was extra special! ⭐️

Volunteer firefighter Neil stopped by to teach us all about fire safety and what it’s like to be a firefighter. Our campers got to see how firefighters put on their protective gear, learn important fire safety tips, and check out the lights and sirens on the fire truck! 🚒🚨
Neil reminded everyone to “play safe,”and we hope to see everyone at Sirens in the Park this Saturday! 🎉

A huge thank you to Callander Volunteer Firefighter, Neil Ross for taking the time to visit our campers and make fire safety fun and memorable! 👨‍🚒🔥

🚒 WEEK 4 FIRE STATION FIELD TRIP! 🧑‍🚒✨

Nothing beats learning about fire safety straight from the fire station! Yesterday, our Week 4 campers took a special field trip over to the local fire station to get an insider's look at what it takes to be a firefighter.

The kids had an absolute blast:

Checking out the fire truck and all the gear up close 🚒

Getting to climb right into the driver's seat of the fire truck! 🚨

Learning about home safety, smoke alarms, and the importance of having a family exit plan 🏠

☀️WEEK 3 COMPLETE☀️

Another fun-filled week at Callander Camp! We had a great time playing pickleball, badminton, tennis, water baseball, racing on the playground, making daily crafts, and so much more. We may have had a few less campers this week, but we still made plenty of amazing memories together!
