It was a truly amazing experience to perform at the Natyanjali Dance Festival 2026.
My heartfelt thanks to the entire Natyanjali team, and special gratitude to Saileshji and Lalithaji for giving us the opportunity to share the stage with such talented local artists and invited artists from Ottawa and Montreal.
Sushree Academy is so proud of our students Koena Banerjee, Sonali Pattanaik, Abhidipta Adhikari, Ria Anand, Sherin Tomy and Nirja Golwala. You all made Sushree Academy proud with your beautiful performance. Excellent job!
Thank you and congratulations to all of you for your hard work, dedication and effort.
A huge thank you to all the parents for your constant support and encouragement. This would not have been possible without you. Sushree Academy will always cherish your love and support.

It was a truly amazing experience to perform at the Natyanjali Dance Festival 2026.
My heartfelt thanks to the entire Natyanjali team, and special gratitude to Saileshji and Lalithaji for giving us the opportunity to share the stage with such talented local artists and invited artists from Ottawa and Montreal.

I, Sushree Mishra, would like to express my deepest gratitude to JAI HO Canada Council for entrusting me with the esteemed opportunity to lead the cultural segment at the prestigious Meet and Greet event with the High Commissioner and Consul General of India, a celebration of our shared rich cultural heritage.

Sushree Academy and its talented artists extend their profound appreciation for the trust placed in us. It was a privilege to perform for His Excellency Shri Dinesh K. Patnaik, High Commissioner of India to Canada, and Shri Masakui Rungsung, Consul General of India, Vancouver.
The event aimed to strengthen Canada-India relations through cultural exchange and community bonding, and the performers were delighted to be an integral part of this celebration.
The dance choreography and direction were led by Guru Sushree Mishra Kar, accompanied by performances by Odissi classical dancers
Suma Mandal, Suruchi Banerjee, Suprava Sahoo, Smita Das, Sakshi Arora, Moumi Chandra, and Shravani Nayak, as well as kid Odissi performers Nitara Sharma, Anisha Banerjee, and Shanaya Das Dash.
Sambalpuri dancers Shivani Pattanaik and Shrabani Nayak
and a patriotic song sung by Pranav Mishra, contributed to the event.
We appreciate the platform provided by JAI HO Canada Council to showcase our rich cultural traditions.

Sushree Academy's students, Koena Banerjee and Sherin Tommy, presented a captivating Odissi dance performance at the Bharatiya Bengali Cultural Club's evening event in Calgary, showcasing the potency of tradition and culture in driving positive transformation. Through their adherence to the esteemed Guru Sishya tradition and cultural legacy, the academy's enthralling show not only delighted the audience but also underscored the significance of preserving our rich heritage. We extend our appreciation to our talented students for their exceptional performance and acknowledge the Bharatiya Bengali Cultural Club for providing a platform to promote Odissi classical dance.

Sushree Academy feels honoured and delighted to perform on the joyful occasion of Holi, organized by the Hindu Society Temple, NE Calgary. It was a proud moment to have the Honourable Danielle Smith and Minister Muhammad Yaseenpresent as distinguished guests.
Our little talented stars of Sushree Academy beautifully presented the Indian Classical Odissi Dance under the guidance of Guru Sushree Mishra Kar.
