Remote coaching isn't a lesser version of training with me in person. Same programming, same attention to how you move and recover — built to fit a week that doesn't have room for a fixed hour at a gym.

You get a program built around your equipment and your schedule, plus direct access to me when something needs adjusting. Train twice one week, five times the next — the program moves with you.

"I have gotten stronger and have kept going as he encourages me to power on! Totally recommend Cory as a remote coach" - Kathy. Remote client

If you're not in Calgary or your week just doesn't hold still, this is exactly what it's built for. Free 15-minute call if you want to see whether it fits

You can do everything right in the gym and still lose the wrong tissue if you're not sleeping.

A 2010 study (Nedeltcheva et al., Annals of Internal Medicine) put two groups on the identical calorie deficit — the only difference was sleep, 8.5 hours vs. 5.5 hours a night. The well-rested group lost mostly fat. The sleep-deprived group lost far more muscle for the same deficit.

If you're 40+ and already fighting to hold onto muscle, sleep isn't optional recovery — it's part of the program

Favourite part of summer.

Nothing fancy — just a container, a raspberry bush, and about ten minutes before I'm back to work.

F*️⃣ck your tired, unmotivated mood.

Most people who train more consistently aren't more disciplined than you -- they just stopped making it a daily decision. Bag packed the night before. Session booked. Nothing left to negotiate with themselves in the morning.

Protein goals: locked in. Meal prep isn't boring when you do it right!

🍲 Most people over 40 are eating half the protein they actually need.

It's not their fault — they're following advice that was never designed for building or keeping muscle.

Filmed this mid-run because apparently I hate myself 😅

Quick PSA between wheezes: the scale is NOT the only metric for fat loss progress.

Track these instead:
📈 Energy levels (am I dying less on runs like this one)
👖 How your clothes fit
💪 Strength gains in the gym
😴 Sleep quality
🧠 Mood & mental clarity

The number on the scale doesn't know you added muscle, dropped inches, or ran further today than last week.

Zoom out. Look at the whole picture. Progress isn't always a smaller number — sometimes it's just breathing (slightly) easier by mile 2.

(Still not there yet, clearly 🥴)

Sunday sorted.

Kick back. Relax. Recover.

The fitness industry has fed people over 40 a lot of nonsense. Let's clear it up.
