This September, Chinook School of Music is celebrating Dane Neufeld as our Teacher of the Month.

Dane teaches guitar to students of all ages, both at our South and North locations and in home lessons. Colleagues describe him as kind, patient, and consistently positive, someone with a calm presence that puts students immediately at ease. He is always smiling and meets each student with a “go with the flow” approach that lets lessons unfold naturally, whatever their pace or personality.

That approach shows in how his students respond. One parent recently shared:
“Dane has been a great fit for my son, and he is loving playing guitar more and more. I would highly recommend Dane, especially to a child who wants to learn to play songs he loves right away, without the classic approach.”

Whether it is a first lesson or a returning student working toward a new song, Dane’s approachable and encouraging style helps students build confidence and stay excited about their music.
