Double SS Leather Products Welcome to our handmade genuine leather bags, purses and backpacks all crafted in Alberta! Double SS Leather is collaborated family venture.

I was tired of buying a new backpack every year for 3 kids! So I talked my parents, who have over 50 years of saddle & harness (The Stockman's Stall) into helping me create and design a backpack that would hold up to the rigors of college books and laptops!! We worked on the backpacks for almost a year until we were happy with the design....which then branched out into messenger bags, purses and tote bags. Our aim is to make merchandise that will last a lifetime.....just like the good old days!

What do you do with a saddle once it can no longer be used for riding?

These English saddles have been deemed unusable for riding and need to be repurposed or end up in the landfill. We’re taking on this task to give them a new life. Hopefully becoming someone’s treasured object once again.

This special project will be debuted at Spruce Meadows Masters tournament.
