Welcome to our handmade genuine leather bags, purses and backpacks all crafted in Alberta! Double SS Leather is collaborated family venture.
I was tired of buying a new backpack every year for 3 kids! So I talked my parents, who have over 50 years of saddle & harness (The Stockman's Stall) into helping me create and design a backpack that would hold up to the rigors of college books and laptops!! We worked on the backpacks for almost a year until we were happy with the design....which then branched out into messenger bags, purses and tote bags. Our aim is to make merchandise that will last a lifetime.....just like the good old days!

There’s something special about slowing down and adding each stamp by hand, making every detail completely one-of-a-kind. No shortcuts, just craftsmanship and a whole lot of patience.
