It is sad to lose a dear friend, Angie McGillivray. A wonderful teacher, choir conductor, talented musician, supporter of fine and performing arts in Calgary, voice for women in education, fan at Crescent Dance shows and most importantly devoted mom to her beautiful daughter, Nevaya. Angie’s death is a tremendous loss to the Calgary community.

Some of the following kids here in the dance studio - falling, flying, laughing, posing or just looking cool! They are getting on in age now - hopefully enjoying life. Matthew St. Lewis, William Vo, Amy Umeh, Kassandra Duffill, Jared Peralta, Marcus Perotte, Michelle Ho, Esther Fayemi and Natasha Korney. Your teachers will always remember you if you make an impression -thanks Crescent Kids!!

Thank you very much to all 55 dancers who came to audition with Goldie. You were amazing to watch and it was super fun. I know Goldie wanted you to be quiet (and you were for the teaching part) but I loved how the spontaneous cheering was so supportive of each other. You all really MADE MY DAY.
