Thinking about trying a packraft, but not sure how it compares to a traditional hardshell whitewater kayak?
In this quick Q&A, Tom breaks down how packrafts handle punching through holes, carving, surfing, and overall river performance. All things considered: they aren't too shabby 😎
Stay tuned for part two!

The best part about working at AQ Outdoors is the days off😉
All of our full-time staff are afforded some 'adventure days' where they are encouraged to get out on the water and paddle around for the workday. This spring, Kaelen used an adventure day out on Lake Bonavista to lead a Scouts group of 287 kids and 107 adults from 18 different Calgary communities.
With a full day packed with water safety, intro to canoeing instruction, and 20 boats on the water at a time, it's no wonder she had a blast.
