That was fast!!! They say that time flies when you're having fun, and it was a lot of fun today.
This is all thanks to the wonderful visitors, vendors and volunteers that make the Shindig so amazing!!
The support of the local maker community is the best!!
We love meeting old and new friends and seeing all the fabulous art and creativity we have around us. Please tag us with your haul or things you make with it!!

Check out the dragon scales, mini-darning looms and icord makers from Purple Gecko, along with other cute fibre crafting accessories.
Yarn Twisters bring their hand dyed yarns, patterns and community spirit to the show.
Lisa brings kits for knitting and cross stitch, solving the "what should I make next" question!

A couple of golourful yarn and fibre dyers who will be at the show tomorrow are Annekatrin | Little Barn Studio and Fibre2Fabric . Both bring joyful colour combos to the Shindig and are totally here for that!!

Thats right!! Only one day away! Not long now until you can treat yourself senses to a feast of colours and squishiness! Not forgetting the other shiny, sparkly and scented things available!

Happy to say that Sara Young is joining us on Saturday!! Sara brings fabulous wooden weaving tools for your weaving pleasure!! Lucets make a most useful and non-curly braid, suitable for laces or cords, and is fun! Sara also loves felting and her cute felted art will also be at her table.

We're thrilled that Jessica Hughes - Glass and Fibre artist is back with us on Saturday!! Jessica is a skilled glass artist and crafts beautiful buttons, stitch markers and spindles in this medium! She also loves working with yarn, and her hand dyed skeins will also be with her at the show.

We're stoked that Gillies Bay Handmade are back for this show! Kaylee is a local sewist who fashions fantastic bags and pouches. Structured pieces with lots of storage solutions mean you have lots of options for carrying your project and support items around.

Next up, we have two local potters, Cara (Cara & Jason) and ajadawnceramics! They both have different styles, but share a passion for their art. Cara and Jason create buttons, bookmarks, cheeky mugs and whimsical, tiny pots and more. The mouse pincushions are just adorable!!
Aja uses her skills as an artist to embellish her clay creations, including mugs. She also uses wool to fashion colourful, tactile sculptures.
