First week of June at SPS ...

Bill Nye was right: Science Rules!

Today we ignited minds, kindled hearts, and forged futures with our Science Discovery Day! Thanks to a generous grant our school received from A+ for Energy, our day was filled with guest speakers, hands-on experiments, interactive stations, and incredible creativity.

What an incredible day we had at yesterday's school-wide track meet! ☀️

We want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who made the day run so smoothly: our Parent Council, wonderful parent volunteers, the Junior High event leaders, and the families who came out to support. To our staff and students—you brought the energy and heart!

School Track & Field Day tomorrow is postponed to Tuesday...

Today our Grade 3 students were off to for a very cool look at the building of playground equipment and other outdoor structures from the design to the finished product! Such a great experience for our students.
Thank you Blue Imp for rearranging your very busy schedule to make time for us!

Today the Grade Four class went to space! We visited the Milky Way, learned about the different phases of the moon and learned about the different planets! Thank you to Mrs.K for coming into our classroom today!
