That’s where our industry comes in! While we in NO WAY diagnose or offer a cure for any medical ailment, with detailed charting and meticulous note taking, we are able to keep pet parents informed about the current visual state of their dogs mouth and fully aware of even the most minute changes in their dogs mouth over time. We are the first to admit that a non-medical, visual inspection does not replace a veterinary cleaning or dental X-ray, but by being able to offer our services at an affordable rate and without anesthesia, pet parents are more likely to access the service, and therefore, be more involved and informed about their pets mouth. The more our community knows about the way their dog’s teeth look/smell/feel, the more likely they are to seek out medical care from their vet on a regular basis!
