Why Lamaze??

When I decided I wanted to get certified, I did a ton of research to figure out who I wanted to get certified with. One major reason I chose Lamaze is because they are entirely research based. Everything I teach my clients can be backed by research and that is extremely important to me!

Another reason I chose Lamaze is because they are accepting of everyone regardless of their birth plans. Everyone has different preferences, different wishes, different past experiences, different pregnancies, and different beliefs when it comes to child birth. It is important to me that every one of my clients feels welcomed, comfortable, and accepted. I always check with my clients before our classes to see what their wishes are and what is most important to them so I can cater my course directly to them and to their personal situations. This is why I love offering private courses in the comfort of my clients homes! I come to you and can teach what is most important to you!

It's been awhile! Let me reintroduce myself. My name is Leslie and I am the owner of Sage Childbirth Education. I am a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator and have two little humans of my own at home :) I am super passionate about informing and empowering expecting families of what to expect before, during, and after labor, as well as your rights and options throughout your journey.

I took a bit of time off after welcoming my second child, but am back and so excited to be teaching Childbirth Education classes again! I offer private childbirth courses in the comfort of your own home, no need to travel!
