Just completed an awesome 3 day retreat at Dragon's Heart Quilt Shop in Pincher Creek, Alberta! 6 lovely quilters worked on a variety of projects including Tequila Lime, Diamonds in Bloom, Prism Table Runner, Agave Garden and Cactus Table Runner. There was lots of laughs and I am always so happy to see quilters have successes in making any Quiltworx.com project!

Arizona Cactus is a great beginner pattern for those looking to learn how to paper piece the 'Quiltworx' way and finishes out at 42"x42"

I just finished up 16 'Compass Rose Table Runner' blocks - each one is unique and there are 8 with a black border and 8 with a grey border
I didn't make them into table runners - I am going to have each one stand alone as a table topper / center placemat for my son's wedding. Afterwards will sew together and give to the happy couple as a wedding keepsake..
The things mothers (and quilters) do their children!!

I had so much fun working with this very talented group of quilters teaching them all about Quiltworx. Patterns in progress / finished included Amazon Star, The Goodnight Star, Glacier Star, Diamond Wedding Ring, Merry Go Round, Old Jalopy Table Runner, Landscape Chevron Table Runner, Mini Stars Table Runner and Cinnamon Sticks (with King Border).. Looking forward to seeing the finished projects.
