Tom’s Tickle Trunk

Years ago, my youngest nephew’s favourite show was Toopy & Binoo and he loooooved Patchy Patch. Because there wasn’t much merchandise, I made him a Patchy Patch doll. He is now sixteen and long outgrown the show and the stuffie, so his sister took dibs on the doll… which was met with an emphatic “NO” by my brother who said she can’t have him for “sentimental reasons” 🤣

Niece then came to me to ask if I could make her one. As I no longer have a sewing machine, I offered to crochet her one. I forgot how much velvet yarn stretches so this Patchy Patch is significantly larger than my first one. Super soft and squishy though 💚 Hope she likes him 😁

As some of you know, I've taken a dive head first into entrepreneurship. It's been a bit of a rollercoaster ride, however, I've made some awesome friends along the way, including Isla who keeps my mindset in check by reminding me there's only do, no try and to slay every day. 🗡️

She also just graduated college - an incredible feat! In recognition of this AMAZING accomplishment, I made this special grogu for her. Life is only going to get better from here, girl! Can't wait to see all that lies ahead for you! 💗

I have a dear friend in the US whose wife is battling stage 4 brain cancer. They're two of the most inspiring people I've ever known. The way they meet such adversity with such grace leaves me in awe. It also feels unfair that such amazing folks are having to face something so awful. So, Sam & Joy - this is for you - to let you know you have my support and to remind cancer to f**k off and leave Joy alone!
