What if the biggest thing missing from your French journey wasn't another textbook... but understanding how YOU learn? đ§
In 14 years of teaching French, I've noticed something important:
Many adults know what frustrated them in school, they know what didn't work or what made them lose confidence.
But very few people have ever been taught how they learn best.
And that changes everything.
When you understand how you learn:
âš You stop guessing
âš You stop wasting energy
âš You build confidence faster
âš You create a learning journey that actually fits you
That's why this Fall, everyone who registers for group classes before the end of August will receive exclusive access to a live session:
đ§ Understanding How You Learn
Together, we'll explore your personal learning profile, learning strengths, school reflexes vs adult learning, and build your own learning map so you can start your French journey with clarity and confidence đ±
This session is reserved exclusively for Fall group class participants.

Something I notice very quickly in my students is this:
The shoulders go down, the body relaxes a little, and suddenly, instead of shutting down or panicking, thereâs a small opening:
âOkay⊠maybe Iâll try.â
Because what many adults experience in French is not really about who they are today.
Itâs often about what happened before.
Past classrooms, pressure, fear of mistakes, humiliation, the feeling of never being good enough.
And when they come back to learning as adults, the body remembers.
Thatâs why emotional safety matters so much.
Not because it makes learning âeasy.â
But because it finally allows learning to happen for real âš
One thing that surprises many students when they start working with me is my patience:
No rush, no pressure to perform instantly.
If you need to try five times, we try five times.
Because we are not here to compete.
We are here to learn đ€
And when people finally feel safe enough to slow down, speak, make mistakes, and try againâŠ
confidence starts rebuilding itself.
Not through pressure, or perfection; through experience, trust, practice, and realizing:
âOh⊠maybe I actually can do this.â đ

This is something I donât talk about often⊠but itâs an important part of what Iâve built.
Because learning French is not just about the language.
Itâs about confidence, growth, and connection đ±
And I truly believe that access to this kind of learning experience should not depend on money.
So I created a scholarship program.
Not as a giveaway.
But as a shared commitment đ€
â For students who are ready to learn, grow, and commit
â And for sponsors who want to support someone in that journey
Itâs a way to create something meaningful together.
If youâre a student, you can apply.
If youâd like to sponsor someone, you can contribute.
And if this makes you think of someone, you can share it đ
This is about community.
About making learning more accessible â without lowering the standard âš

Sweet French Learning is 6 years old this month đ
And honestly⊠what a journey it has been.
When I started Sweet French Learning, I wasnât trying to build âjust another French class.â
I wanted to create a different experience đ±
A place where people could learn without shame.
A place where mistakes were part of the process, not something to fear.
A place where confidence could grow alongside the language.
Over the years, there were moments of exhaustion, instability, doubt, and people telling me I should quit.
But I never gave up.
Because I know the mission, it lives in me!
I know the impact.
And I know there are still so many people who need to discover that there is another way to learn French âš
A few weeks ago, I had one of those beautiful full-circle moments.
14 years ago, during my very first week of teacher training at the best language school in France, the trainer mentioned she had 14 years of experience as a French teacher.
And I remember thinking:
âWow⊠the day Iâll be able to say this...â
Now, 14 years later⊠here we are đ
Not only do I get to say it, but I also get to train teachers myself.
And honestly, this is only the beginning.
Thank you for being part of this community đ
And a very special thank you to every client who trusted me, opened themselves to me, and allowed me to guide them through their French journey.
I am deeply grateful.
And I am very ready for what comes next. đ

Thereâs something most French classes are missing.
And itâs not grammar.
A lot of people come to me believing they lack confidence because:
â they make mistakes
â they hesitate
â they forget words
â they donât speak perfectly
But often, the real issue is much deeper than the language itself.
Itâs the environment they learned in.
A place where mistakes felt stressful.
Where correctness mattered more than expression.
Where speaking became connected to pressure instead of confidence.
And over time, the body remembers that experience.
Recently, during a Meet & Greet, someone told me:
âI feel really hot⊠I have a knot in my stomach.â
At first, he thought it meant his French wasnât good enough.
But his level was actually advanced.
The real issue wasnât his ability.
It was everything emotionally connected to French đ
This is something I say all the time:
âThis is not about French.
This is about what happened to you in French.â
Because confidence doesnât come from waiting until youâre "perfect".
It comes from speaking, practicing, making mistakes, and learning in a space where you feel safe enough to grow đ±
And that changes everything âš

âIâm struggling.â
I've heard this many times.
But most of the time⊠itâs not actually true.
What people call âstrugglingâ usually looks like this:
â needing time to think
â forgetting words
â making mistakes
â not answering as fast as theyâd like
And then the conclusion comes in:
âIâm not good at this.â
âI should already know this.â
But let me be clear with you:
Thatâs not struggling.
Thatâs learning.
Learning is not a straight line đ
Itâs messy, uncomfortable, and sometimes slow.
You make mistakes.
You repeat things.
You feel unsure.
And all of that⊠is part of the process.
What makes it hard isnât just the learning itself.
Itâs the way you talk to yourself while youâre learning.
The self-criticism.
The pressure.
The idea that you should already be better.
You donât need to apologize for not knowing.
You donât need to apologize for making mistakes.
Thatâs literally why youâre learning.
So if youâve been telling yourself âIâm strugglingââŠ
Pause for a second.
Nothing is wrong with you.
Youâre learning âš
