PERSONALIZED LEARNING is what this is all about! This is a one woman job, not a company. Sign up for ONLINE or IN PERSON TUTORING today! I am an experienced teacher accepting students as young as preschool age upwards to Grade 12 looking for academic support in FRENCH OR ENGLISH.
My name is Holly and I created this account to meet the academic needs of students on an individual level. I am a certified teacher working in Calgary as a substitute and contract teacher. I have experience teaching Preschool, Kindergarten, as well as grades 1 through 12 in a combination of English and French Immersion programs. Outside of my work in the classroom, I have found great enjoyment and passion for reaching students on a more personalized level. I love being able to dedicate one on one time to focus on areas of development, and to continue to challenge students to meet higher standards of learning. This is why each tutoring session with me is structured to accommodate your child's specific learning needs!
I believe one of the most important factors to ensure your child's success is to keep open communication between myself and YOU as a parent. This is why I provide:
1. New client intake form - for me to learn about where your child is at and what you hope for them to achieve!
2. Weekly or monthly session reports - to summarize what I am working on with your child each session and to report areas of strength and challenges.
3. One on one parent teacher conferences - time scheduled before or after sessions to ask me questions and share your input and feedback. This is inclusive in the price you pay for a session, but will need to be scheduled at least 24hrs in advance, so I can ensure availability.
