Home to our grades 1, 2, and 3 student-athletes, The Lakehouse will feature three newly renovated classrooms, administrative offices, gym/flex space, and beautiful views of McCallum’s Pond.

👩‍🔬 Step into the lab with Ms. Briggs’ Grade 11 Biology Class 🔬

This week, our student-athletes traded lectures for scalpels during their rat dissection lab. Experiences like this bridge the gap between classroom theory and real-world science, giving our student-athletes the critical thinking skills they need to excel. We are so proud of the maturity, curiosity, and academic rigour our Grade 11s displayed as they explored complex anatomical structures.

Our Grade 11 and 12 Anthropology and History students recently spent the day at the Royal Ontario Museum, exploring exhibits that brought their classroom learning to life.

Experiences like these remind us how valuable hands-on learning can be for student-athletes working to balance academics, athletics, and personal growth. Curiosity, perspective, and engagement outside the classroom all play an important role in the learning process.

As the warm weather returns, we're thrilled to introduce two distinct after school programs to keep your little athlete active heading into the summer.

Tuesdays after school throughout June (plus May 26)

4:15 - 5:00 - Multi-Sport for ages 5-10
5:00 - 6:00 - Cricket for ages 7-12

A huge congratulations goes out to our Varsity/JV team that was competing in the Canadian Prep Lacrosse League, and secured their third Championship in a row.

From the field to the lab 🧬🍓🍌

Our Grade 12 student-athletes traded jerseys for lab coats as they extracted DNA from strawberries and bananas in the science lab today. Hands-on learning, critical thinking, and curiosity in action makes for a fun day of science. There is a reason we refer to them as student-athletes, as they are students first, and we’re proud to do our part in building champions in the classroom and beyond.
