In Germany, some supermarkets have come up with a clever solution for dog owners: “Pet Parking Pads.”

These are temperature-controlled, ventilated kennels placed at store entrances, allowing dogs to rest safely while their owners shop.

Registered by the company DogSpot, the kennels are described as safe, hygienic, and stress-free for animals. Owners can lock and unlock them via an app or a code provided by the store.

The idea is to prevent dogs from being tied up outside in bad weather or left in hot cars. The pads keep the climate comfortable year-round and have transparent walls so dogs can look outside — reducing their anxiety.

This initiative highlights Germany’s growing focus on pet-friendly urban and shopping design, combining technology, animal welfare, and everyday convenience.

Exciting things ahead!

We are thrilled to announce that Hound Crew and Operant Animal Training will be teaming up in Brampton! With this collaboration, we will be combining our strengths and expertise to deliver an exceptional new service to our clients.

We will be launching a new positive reinforcement training camp program for adult dogs. The training camp will be offered by professional trainers from Operant Animal Training at Hound Crew's Brampton location. The program is set to launch in June and will be available as an add-on to the daycare enrolment program, or it can be combined with an overnight boarding stay.

Hound Crew will be accepting graduates from Operant Animal Training’s day school to join the HC daycare enrolment program. Trial days will be available at Hound Crew in May.

This new approach will merge experienced individuals from the animal training and pet care field to make a positive change for our four-legged friends. Our experienced team will apply positive reinforcement techniques and socialization opportunities to help your furry family members reach their full potential!

We are excited to welcome new members to our program!
