I’m proud to announce the promotion of Kristen Quigley to the position of Associate Head Coach.

Since joining our coaching staff, Kristen has consistently demonstrated outstanding leadership, professionalism, and a strong commitment to the continued growth of our program. She has taken on key responsibilities in team operations, recruiting, athlete support, communications, and program development, earning the respect of our student-athletes and staff through her dedication and collaborative approach.

This promotion also comes at an exciting time in Kristen's career, following the successful completion of her PhD in neurosciences in May 2025. Her academic achievement reflects the same passion for excellence, continuous learning, and commitment that she brings to coaching every day.

"Kristen has become an invaluable leader within our program," said Head Coach Abderrahmane Tissira. "Her ability to lead, recruits, support our student-athletes, and contribute to every aspect of the program has made a tremendous impact. This promotion recognizes the outstanding work she has done and the important role she will continue to play as we build the future of SFU Swimming."
