Thank you to everyone who celebrated the coming Solstice with the BCIT Food Security Committee at the Indigenous Garden Event last week.
Together, we heard teachings from Elder Tina Aquash, listened to songs performed by Proud Little Warriors from Squamish Nation, and shared Three Sisters soup and Bannock for a day of gathering and community planting.
