Brentwood Preschool

We introduced a digital microscope 🔬 to the children’s nature exploration table. Its simplicity makes it an exciting tool for discovery, allowing them to view small details easily. 🔍 The children organized their nature collections 🍁 from outside and we refer to them as specimens. We love seeing their tiny fingers handle these finds with such care, noticing intricate details that spark their curiosity. One child points out how the inside of a chestnut shell 🌰 resembles a brain 🧠, while another discovers red lines on an acorn and calls it blood. 🩸 It’s rewarding to see them make connections between their discoveries and their own bodies. One child exclaims, “I see gold!” upon spotting a sparkling spot on a leaf. Moments like these remind us of the wonder and curiosity that fill our classroom each day.

Our first General Meeting is this evening! 🙌 We look forward to welcoming our new families and reconnecting with the returning ones, and sharing our mission statement: To foster the wonder of a child. To collaborate as a community and inspire early learning. 🌟

Welcome to a new school year! 🎒 We are looking forward to our first day of school and are so excited to see returning faces and greet new ones as we begin a year full of exploration, adventure, and unforgettable memories. This year, we are delighted to introduce Sabrina, the newest member of our teaching team. A big thank you to Coach Dino and Ultimate Soccer School for providing an incredible soccer session for our preschoolers! The weather ☀️ was perfect, and the children spent a full hour working hard learning new soccer skills, listening attentively, giving their best effort, and having lots of fun! Coach Dino is well known and well loved in our community for his excellent coaching and ability to engage young athletes in a positive and energetic way. We highly recommend Ultimate Soccer School and look forward to working with him again in the future. ⚽️ 🥅
