We had a lot of awesome virtual events this year, but, these events don't cost a lot of money. So to give back to you all we are doing a big giveaway draw!

We will be giving out 3 headsets to help you with your virtual classes and beyond.

We will be giving 2 prizes to a statistics or actuary science major, and one to anyone in a stats class (everyone on this mailing list should fit one of those two categories)

Hi all!

SFU BDH is offering a crash course on AI essentials during reading break.

It is paid, however, if you identify as female you can apply for a 500$ scholarship from Athena pathways to cover the cost.

Hi Statistics and Actuarial Science Students!

SASSA is going to have a co-op/professional spotlight event on this coming Saturday, July 11th! It is from 11 am to 12 pm on the zoom meeting. We will have 4 speakers to share their work experiences and tips on job applications for different companies or organizations they have worked for such as RBC, Manulife, NBA and etc. All students are welcomed no matter if you are a new student interested in the co-op program or current co-op/full-time job-seeker.
