A look back to our Fight For Fun Tournament, featuring our Juniors Chanbara division! ⚔️

This is always a fun & fast-paced division, as the students pull out some of their most dynamic moves during these rounds. Sometimes the photos look straight out of a movie with the action poses caught in the moment. 🙌💥👌

We love to see the creativity of our students come out when it comes to these divisions. Many of these students are also a part of our MaTrix tricking team, utilizing their dynamic moves in their unique Forms, as well as adding an extra-fun edge of competition between teammates.

as we look back on our recent Black Belt Extravaganza this past Saturday. 🙌🥋👌

What an Extravaganza we had! This class came together over their cycle, and really made this graduation something special. From brand new Black Belts all the way to Masters rank being handed out, this group encompassed a broad range of our MGBBA students. It’s amazing to see so many people make strides in their martial arts journey.

as our newest Black Belts are resting up after this monumental Black Belt Extravaganza yesterday. 🙌🥋👌

Our Apprentice Class graduates performed amazingly well for the entire Extravaganza, making it one of the best in the history of MGBBA. This was a very strong class with some notable names, so we had a packed Dojo with many supporting family, friends, training partners, and Instructors wanting to cheer on the group.

A big thank you to our Assistants for all their help, and to everyone who attended and made this Extravaganza such a celebration of these students.

Congratulations to everyone in the class for all their hard work and milestone achievement! 👏👏👏

We have to wish a very Happy Birthday to our own Ms. Tasha!!! 🎂🎉👏

Our Head Administrator & Program Director, Ms. Tasha is an integral part of our core MGBBA team. Through her hard work, she has helped literally every single person at our Dojo during their martial arts journeys. She is most often the first person any of our prospective students talk to, and is constantly working behind the scenes to facilitate the many moving parts it takes to have our Dojo run smoothly.

A First Dan Black Belt, Ms. Tasha has been training since she was a child, and uses that experience to help relate to all the students, parents, & families that make up our Dojo. She is one of the original “Dojo Moms” that provides strong leadership for our female contingent.

A huge Thank You to Ms. Tasha for all her hard work! 👏👏👏

It’s amazing to see the energy & focus these students put into doing their best. For many, this is their first time competing, so it can be very intimidating. But the great sportsmanship & camaraderie brings everyone together, and builds everyone’s skills & enjoyment at the same time.

Looking back on our recent Fight For Fun Tournament. 🙌

Our in-house tournament is a long-standing tradition here at MGBBA, and it’s different every year. We have had some of our best competitors, Black Belts, Instructors, & sparring champions get their start here. 👊
