Three weeks, countless conversations, new friendships, reciprocal learning, and memories that will extend well beyond the classroom.
From July 6–24, 2026, educators from Taiwan joined us in the Faculty of Education for the SFU-NTNU English Teacher Professional Development Program. Through interactive workshops, school visits, micro-teaching, and cultural experiences, participants deepened connections with their colleagues, local educators and learning communities, and explored innovative approaches to teaching that sparked meaningful conversations about pedagogy, teacher identity, and education across different contexts. Teachers described the experience as inspiring, practical and transformative.
A sincere thank you to the participants for their curiosity, enthusiasm, and willingness to share their experiences openly and honestly. Thank you as well to our partners at NTNU and our team of facilitators, faculty, school partners, and everyone whose time and support made this program memorable.
Here's to continuing to learn from one another, across cultures and across continents!

In Part 2 of our conversation with Dr. Sandeep Kaur Glover, we explore what it means to practice embodied, relational ways of knowing in institutional spaces and beyond.
Drawing from Sikh philosophical perspectives and arts-based research, this episode explores how embodiment, care, and uncertainty can transform teaching, learning, and research. Join us as we reflect on decolonization, collective healing, and reimagining education through a more humane and relational lens.
