This month, our little learners will be exploring new French holiday vocabulary, singing cheerful winter songs like Vive le vent and Petit tambour, and enjoying lots of cozy seasonal crafts and activities.

December is always such a magical time in the classroom — full of music, creativity, and winter wonder.

This month, our students are learning about Les Aidants de la Communauté — the wonderful people who help our neighbourhood every day! 👩‍🏫🧑‍🚒👮‍♀️

From doctors and firefighters to teachers and chefs, our children are discovering new French words and the many ways we can all lend a helping hand. 💛

Did you know that the Burnaby French Language Preschool (BFLP) has deep roots in our community’s dedication to bilingual education? 🌱📘

For five decades, BFLP has been a cornerstone for French early learning in Burnaby — and it all began with the passion and perseverance of local parents. This grassroots movement was supported by none other than Canadian Parents for French - BC & Yukon, a charitable organization devoted to promoting and supporting French as a second language across our province and beyond. 🙌✨

Organizations like CPF have empowered generations of families to embrace French language learning, creating a lasting impact that continues to grow. From classroom support to cultural celebrations, CPF’s work has been instrumental in shaping our preschool’s story.
