🔧 New Members, New Skills, New Beginnings! 🏎️
Last Wednesday, we kicked off our annual New Member Shop Orientation! 🎉
Every year, our newest members get hands-on experience learning how the machine shop works, getting familiar with commonly used hand tools, and building something of their own. This year’s project was a bottle opener! 🔧🍾 From learning new skills to putting them into practice, everyone had a great time!
Meanwhile, things were already getting busy on the Design Team! 🏎️ New and returning members came together to kick off the design season, dive into their new roles, and take on their first set of design tasks. The road to the MK5.5 has started, and there’s plenty of work ahead!
And to make things even more interesting, one of our alumni has thrown down a challenge! 🏁💰 If we can prove that we’re on track to finish the car by the end of winter break, with all of our designs completed, he will reward the team with a $1,000 sponsorship opportunity! 🔥
A new year, a new team, new challenges, and a lot to prove.
